Consuming less

To consume with a focus on quality not quantity; that should be the motto. By consuming less you can consume more. The world is so big that you’ll run out of life much much before it runs out of things to offer you. So it becomes quite pointless to keep up with the latest and greatest. FOMO is real, but you don’t need to give into it. It’s one of the most anxiety inducing side effect created by the “modern” world. I’m happy to remain unaware of the latest meme, the latest scandal, the latest tech, the latest way in which the government is fucking up democracy. I’m happy in my little world, surrounded with books, music, code, movies and the people I love and who love me.
